bookstores and libraries should be like churches, man
you’re not allowed to judge anyone in a bookstore no matter what kind of books they’re looking at
literary nuts can read trashy romance novels
adults can sit cross legged on the floor and read picture books
christians can read the koran and buddhists can read books about satanism
mother of four can read a self-help book on spicing up her sex life
divorced cop can read a book about sexuality
no one gets to judge and no one gets to say anything about it - that is sacred fuckin territory and as long as you aren’t ripping out pages and stuffing them in your pants, you can look at any kind of book you want
even twilight
holy shit yes
even if you see a teenage girl tearing up as she nears the end of breaking dawn YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF
SYLVIA PLATH DIED FOR YOUR LIBRARY CARD
HATE THE BOOK NOT THE READER
SYLVIA PLATH DIED FOR YOUR LIBRARY CARD
do you ever reblog something and say to yourself “i know who’s going to reblog this” and then they reblog it

More than anything, or anyone else, I will always love the stars. I love the light, and I love the idea that there is always something out there that will shine light down on those who need it, even in the dead of night. Sometimes the atmosphere will cloud the stars, just as sometimes what we go through in life will cloud our view of just how sparkly we can be, but those clouds are always going to part and expose us to the earth-shattering beauty that is our universe, and in turn, our life. I genuinely believe that. As long as the stars shine in the sky, I will keep trying; I will keep writing, even when no-one wants to read what I have to say; I will keep talking, even if people walk away; I will keep smiling, even when I feel like everything is crashing down around my shoulders; I will keep bloody standing here because if I don’t, how am I going to look at the stars?
i have been staring at this for like ten minutes looking at all the little details
like how her fingers curl just a tiny bit after she looks
and the way the light changes on her dress
and just ;aldkfnab;efka beautiful animation
And they animated her breathing, you see her stomach move. How often do you see that in animation?

If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.
